Fix Missing GA4 Event Debugging
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
When I push an event to the dataLayer it shows up perfectly in Google Tag Manager Preview, yet that same event never reaches GA4 DebugView. I work with both GTM and GA4 side-by-side, so I can already confirm that the tag configuration, event parameters and the usual real-time debugging panels have been reviewed. Even after these checks the GA4 Event tag still refuses to fire.
Here’s what I still need verified end-to-end:
• the GA4 Event tag settings in GTM (including any trigger nuances)
• the correct Measurement ID being passed at runtime
• consent mode state and whether it blocks the call
• the presence and value of the debug_mode parameter
• the actual g/collect network request in the browser console or tag assistant
Your task is to trace the request, locate the exact break in the chain, and guide me through the precise fix so that events appear in GA4 DebugView and ultimately in standard reporting. A clear explanation of what went wrong and the steps to resolve it will be the final deliverable.
