Fix Laravel getDetailUrl Error
Budget: $10 – $11 USD
My Laravel app suddenly started throwing the following fatal error whenever a user visits the booking-history page:
Call to a member function getDetailUrl() on null
(View: /home/mohsffmv/kingcambridgesolutions.com/modules/User/Views/frontend/bookingHistory.blade.php)
Live URL: https://kingcambridgesolutions.com/user/booking-history
The issue appeared out of nowhere—only minor configuration tweaks were made just before it surfaced, and no code was intentionally altered. I need a Laravel expert to track down the root cause, patch the offending code or configuration, and confirm that the page—and any dependent features—work flawlessly afterward.
Key goals and acceptance criteria:
• Diagnose why the object is null inside bookingHistory.blade.php and implement a robust fix.
• Provide a concise summary of the root cause and the changes made.
• Push the corrected code via Git (or deliver modified files) and demonstrate that /user/booking-history now loads without errors and introduces no regressions elsewhere.
You’ll receive read-only access to the repository and hosting environment first, with write access granted once we’re aligned on the solution path. Experience with Laravel, Blade, Eloquent relationships, and production debugging is essential. I’m ready to get this resolved right away.
