I have a feature-complete, professionally architected desktop application built in C# WinForms. The core logic is solid and well-tested — but the front end has developed a set of stubborn UI gremlins that need a sharp, experienced eye to diagnose and eliminate cleanly.
What you'll be dealing with:
• Interactive controls (buttons, toolbars, menus) that silently swallow their events under certain conditions instead of firing their handlers — the kind of bug that looks fine until it doesn't.
• Layout instability: controls drift, overlap, or collapse depending on screen resolution, DPI scaling (100%, 125%), and window resize state. The app must hold its shape across all of these.
• Rendering glitches: some forms display incorrect or garbled text, icons fail to load or render as blank placeholders, and ghost controls linger on screen after they should have been dismissed.
The fixes need to be surgical. The project structure, naming conventions, and existing architecture must stay intact — this codebase will continue to be actively developed. Every change should be accompanied by a brief inline comment so the reasoning is traceable.
