Delta PLC Programming for Automation Project

Job ID: 40095183

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Requirement: Delta PLC Programmer (AS228T-A) – CANopen Based Multi-Node Control
We are looking for an experienced Delta PLC programmer with strong hands-on expertise in AS228T-A PLC for an industrial motion control and automation project.
System Architecture
1 Master PLC: Delta AS228T-A
4 CANopen Slave Nodes: Motor controllers / drives
CAN Network: Single PLC controlling all 4 nodes
Analog Module: Delta AS04AD-A for analog signal acquisition and control
Scope of Work
Program and configure Delta AS228T-A PLC as CANopen master
Configure and manage 4 CANopen slave nodes (node ID management, PDO/SDO mapping)
Integrate AS04AD-A analog input module into control logic
Implement motion control logic, synchronization, enable/disable logic, and interlocks
Develop robust industrial-grade logic with fault handling, alarms, and recovery
Debug CAN communication issues (node visibility, timing delays, sync issues)
Provide commissioning support (remote or documentation-based)
Prepare clean documentation for PLC logic, CAN mapping, and diagnostics
Technical Skills Required
Delta PLC programming (ISPSoft / DIAStudio)
Strong understanding of CANopen protocol
Experience working with multi-node CAN networks
Integration of Delta AS-series analog modules (AS04AD-A)
Industrial motion control and synchronization concepts
Troubleshooting CANbus stability and communication errors
Nice to Have
Experience with mobile or material handling equipment
Knowledge of motor drive tuning and response optimization
Familiarity with industrial electrical and control panels
Deliverables
Fully functional PLC program
CANopen configuration and node mapping
Analog module integration logic
Fault handling, diagnostics, and safety logic
Technical documentation for future scaling and maintenance
Engagement Type
Freelance / Project-based
Potential for long-term collaboration
Important:
Only apply if you have practical, hands-on experience with Delta AS-series PLCs (AS228T-A specifically), CANopen master–slave architecture, and AS04AD-A analog modules. Generic PLC experience without Delta AS CANopen exposure will not be considered.
