Debugging Exe Recovery Issue in RecoverPro
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have developed a Windows data recovery application (RecoverPro) that works correctly for most file types such as images, videos, and documents.
However, there is a specific issue with executable (.exe) files:
During recovery of any .exe file, an error popup appears
Recovered .exe files are either not usable or fail to restore properly
Detection may work, but recovery process fails
Important:
Other file extensions are recovered perfectly without any issues
The problem is isolated only to .exe file recovery
To properly diagnose this, the application needs to be tested directly.
Freelancers are requested to download and test the app.
Note:
The app is currently paid and can't be free immediately (due to Microsoft Store policies), but any cost incurred will be fully compensated (refunded or added as a bonus in the project payment).

Identify the root cause of the .exe recovery issue

Propose a working solution or technical approach to fix it
