Checkout Quantity Button Fix

My pos checkout page has “add” and “minus” quantity buttons that suddenly stopped responding. They still render correctly, but no click event fires, so customers can’t adjust item counts before paying.

I need a developer who can jump into the existing website codebase, trace why the JavaScript (or any conflicting CSS/HTML) is blocking the event, and restore full functionality right away. The rest of the checkout flow works fine; the only broken element is this pair of buttons.

Deliverables
– Updated code (JS/HTML/CSS or framework-specific file) with the bug removed
– Brief note of what was changed so I can track it in version control

Acceptance criteria
1. Buttons increment and decrement quantity on every click.
2. Values persist through page refresh and continue to the payment step.
3. No new console errors introduced.
