Bug Fix for React game

My browser-based game, built entirely in React, suddenly throws an error message as soon as it starts. Until three days ago everything launched flawlessly, so something recent—whether in the codebase, a package update, or a configuration tweak—must be the culprit.

Here’s what you’ll do for me:
• Pull the latest repo (GitHub access provided) and reproduce the startup error locally.
• Trace the root cause of the error message that blocks the initial render.
• Implement a clean, well-commented fix without introducing regressions.
• Document exactly what broke, why, and the steps you took so I can avoid it in future updates.
• Push the working build back and demonstrate it running error-free.

The project relies on standard React 18 with Vite, plus a couple of game-specific libraries (pixi.js and Zustand). If other dependencies need pinning or upgrading, handle that as part of your solution.

I’m looking for someone comfortable with React debugging, npm dependency management, and rapid turnaround. Once the bug is squashed and I confirm the game launches without errors, the job is complete.
