Audit & Fix GTM/GA4 Tracking

Job ID: 40045685

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I have Google Tag Manager running across six separate websites and everything is already containerised, but the numbers in GA4 are bleeding together—page-views and events from one site keep showing up inside the other properties. A few of my custom tags are also firing twice or not at all, so something in the current configuration is clearly off.

Here’s what I need:

• A full walkthrough of the existing GTM container(s) and GA4 property settings, including all custom tags, triggers and variables
• Isolation of the root causes behind the cross-site data mix-ups and the mis-firing events (I suspect cross-domain or incorrect stream settings, but I want a fresh set of eyes)
• Clean corrections: fixing measurement IDs, refining tag and trigger rules, updating any consent or data-layer snippets, and validating everything in Preview Mode, GA4 DebugView and Tag Assistant
• Final confirmation that each of the six sites feeds only its own stream and that every key event fires once—and only once—where it should
• A concise hand-off note or mini-report outlining every change you made so I can keep the setup healthy moving forward

If you’re completely comfortable with GA4, cross-domain tracking nuances and debugging in GTM, this should be straightforward. I’ll give you access as soon as we agree, and I’m happy to answer any additional questions you have about the existing custom tags or data-layer pushes.
