Installing open source osmo-sgsn and osmo-pcu on legacy Ubuntu

I'm seeking a skilled freelancer to undertake an near-term task that entails compiling current open-source projects, osmo-sgsn and osmo-pcu, on an older version of Ubuntu, specifically Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. The main objective behind this requirement is to ensure compatibility with testing an embedded system where upgrade of the OS is strongly not preferred. The system has existing releases of osmo-sgsn and omo-pcu running, where those versions were released about 7 years ago.
**Key Requirements:**
- Expertise in working with older Ubuntu systems, particularly Ubuntu 10 and 12.
- Experience in compiling open-source projects, particularly current releases on older OS.
- Ability to troubleshoot potential compatibility or dependency issues that might arise due to the older operating system.
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- Strong background in Linux systems, especially Ubuntu.
- Experience in software development
- Good problem-solving skills, capable of finding workarounds for issues related to older software compatibility.
- Excellent communication skills, as you might need to coordinate with my team to minimize the scope of installed versions, since the working version of osmo-sgsn needs no authentication or dependencies on openssl
