Debian Expert Only
Budget: $15 – $20 USD
Debian 12 (Bookworm) now installs with non-free drivers included.
Apparently there's a way to modify the installation so that it doesn't include non-free drivers, but I can't figure out how. I tried adding "firmware=never" in the installation's boot parameters (before --quiet), but that didn't work.
If this is possible, I simply need someone to write instructions for me. Note that I'm installing from DVD.
Please: this is for a Debian expert only (all the instructions I've found on forums haven't worked, so I don't want someone who's merely copying that stuff).
