Square terminal POS customization
Budget: $15 – $25 CAD
Problem:
Currently, Square POS does not support uploading of product image URL’s when uploading product details via CSV or Excel files to the Square database.
Need to add 1 more table to the Square POS db that will store image links, via a link from an external URL and place it into my POS in store & online store. The imported linked image must then be inserted to the table/library that stores images in Square POS. These images should be stored individually and overwritten upon uploading a new image associated with this product SKU.
I assume, that once the product image appears in store then the currently implemented update feature in the Square POS will update to the website so it must be implemented at the POS level. This must be confirmed.
Optionally, the images could further be made available when downloading product database information using a CSV file in the form of a link indicating the location within Square to where they are stored. This is currently done in the B2B wave platform. The system allows external image links to be mapped in the database and then stores a 2nd link to where the system stores the image on the CDN cloudinary platform. If this approach were to be taken then I would open a Cloudinary account to accommodate this function using the Cloudinary API.
Please provide a quote with and without the option component. Optional recommendations are welcome. Perhaps a script already exists for this and just needs to be implemented?
