Firebase Developer for Virtual Mailbox Platform
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the project team to define requirements and specifications for the virtual mailbox platform.
2. Design and develop the backend infrastructure using Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
3. Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure access to user data.
4. Develop frontend components using web or mobile frameworks compatible with Firebase, ensuring a seamless user experience.
5. Implement features for mail reception, management, forwarding, and package handling using Firebase Realtime Database or Firestore.
6. Integrate with third-party APIs for postal services, shipping carriers, and payment gateways as needed.
7. Implement notification systems using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to keep users informed about incoming mail and package updates.
8. Perform testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure the platform's performance, reliability, and scalability.
9. Provide documentation and technical support to assist with platform deployment, maintenance, and future enhancements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Firebase developer, with a strong understanding of Firebase services and their capabilities.
2. Proficiency in backend development using Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
3. Experience with frontend development using web or mobile frameworks compatible with Firebase, such as React, Angular, or Flutter.
4. Familiarity with database design, security principles, and data protection regulations.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
7. Experience with postal services, logistics, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Duration: This is a freelance project with an estimated duration of 2 weeks (3 weeks maximum).
Budget: $1100 to $1400 for the full implementation of the project and database tested and approved by customers. If you are over budget please do not apply.
