Distributed Database Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Applications in multiple sites will use the queries, updates, and delete statements listed below. Design a Distributed Database system that without replication have appropriate fragments in each of the sites to execute their applications. Each team member of your group will be responsible for a unique site.
Site 1:
List employee names for those with a salary greater than 30000
List customer names who only rented red cars
Show license number of vehicles with only one fault report
Site 2:
List employee names with a salary less or equal to 30000
List customer names who only rented green cars
Show license number of vehicles with only two fault reports
Site 3:
Show telephone numbers of customers from California
List customer names who never rented a red and never rented a green car
Show license number of vehicles with three or more fault reports
Delete vehicles with 10 or more fault reports.
Site 4:
Show telephone numbers of customers not from California
Show license number of vehicles that do not have a fault report
Update salaries with a 15% increase for those employees with 15 or more years working with the company
