Database development

Hello, I'm looking for someone to maintain and further develop a database for me in order to store user data. The database is a relational database, but I'm open to suggestions for which database management system would work best for this purpose. The overall goal is to have a backup to me, and possibly take over maintenance and further development. If you think you have the right skillset to complete this project, please let me know.
