Creating a barcode for a Wedding Invitation and printing same.

I am having a wedding soon and in order to control the invitees, I need to put barcode, name and control number on the cards. I wish to be able to print the card (an a printer) and also send the completed cards electronically to the recipients. I wish the barcode to be scanneable at the entrance (from either the printed card or the WhatsApp image sent electronically) and the detailed info to be shown on a Windows 10 laptop. I have a simple barcode scanner and a laser printer for the output. Both cards to be serially Numbered from (Wedding) 051 - 400 and the Second card (Engagement) to be serially numbered from 101 to 200. The image sizes could be reduced for ease of electronic transmission.
