Cloud-Based Database for Formulations & Production

1. Introduction
Neuraform is seeking proposals from qualified software development firms or freelance developers to design and build a modern, cloud-based database system for managing formulations, research and development, production, and costing management system.
The system should be scalable, intuitive, and secure, with an easy-to-use interface for chemists, production teams, and business analysts.
We have attached photos of our existing system that we are looking to upgrade to the newest technologies.
2. Project Overview
The objective is to create a centralized database system that streamlines:
• Product management (ie. the formulation and recipes for the products we develop. Here’s where we develop our formulations and our research and development work is carried out)
• Material inventory management (raw materials, finished goods, stock levels, reordering alerts)
• Order management (ie. tracking all our orders for materials)
• Factory production management (ie. tracking the final production of materials ordered by customers. This outlines all the steps in making the product and guides the factory on the ingredients to use and the formulation to follow)
• Customer Management & Quotes (Business Development) (ie. managing all new customer profiles, names, addresses, contact detail, and where we create our quote for our customers based on what we think it will cost to produce, add in our margin and overhead costs)
• AI-powered analytics for cost and yield optimization
• Role-based security and cloud deployment
Backend development should be Python (Django)
