Zabbix & Greylog NOC Deployment
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I’m setting up a new Network Operations Center on Linux servers and need a clean, production-ready installation of the latest stable Zabbix alongside Greylog. Some machines are already racked and running, while others are still on the shopping list, so part of the engagement is helping me decide whether to repurpose what I have or spec out new boxes that will comfortably handle monitoring, log aggregation, and growth over the next few years.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Install and fully configure the current stable release of Zabbix (server, web front-end, database, and agents).
- Acheive essential features offered by zabbix
- hardware sizing
• Deploy Greylog with the appropriate stack (MongoDB, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch) and tune it for reliable ingestion from network gear, servers, and security appliances.
• Provide concise hardware sizing advice where my existing kit is borderline or unsuitable.
• Document every step so I can reproduce the build if we ever need to expand or rebuild.
• A brief walk-through call once everything is live so I understand the essentials of day-to-day use, backup, and updates.
Everything runs on Linux, so please be comfortable working via SSH and automating as much as practical. If you’ve integrated these two platforms before—or have tricks to streamline alerting and dashboards—let me know. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on an approach and timeline.
Devices and servers to monitor: 200 network devices like swithes , routers, firewall and upto 30 servers
