Urgent PHP School System Fix

Job ID: 39923223

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a PHP / MySQL school management platform that suddenly stopped behaving as expected. Within the next two hours I need a sharp developer to dive in, diagnose the root cause, and push a working patch to production.

Current blockers
• Student Registration completes the form flow but the data never reaches the database—no errors, just an empty table.
• Because registration feeds Course, Enrollment, and Grade modules, nothing else can be properly tested until this persistence issue is resolved.

Who touches the system
Students, Educators, and Administrators all log in through our existing authentication layer, so any change you make must keep those three roles fully operational and secure.

What I need from you right now
1. Track down why the registration data doesn’t save (PHP logic, SQL queries, or connection settings—wherever the failure sits).
2. Apply a clean, well-commented fix so new student records persist instantly and can be recalled by every other module.
3. Smoke-test Course Management, Enrollment Management, and Grade Management afterwards to confirm nothing else broke in the process.

I’ll give you immediate access to the codebase (cPanel + phpMyAdmin) and stay on chat for quick answers. Push the patched files and any SQL changes back to me, along with a short summary of what you changed so I can document the release.

Fast turnaround is everything here—if you can’t wrap this up in roughly two hours, please don’t accept.
