IT Task Portal Development
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a browser-based portal that lets users sign up and use fot their IT departments to publish, assign, and track every task it handles. The goal is to track Dashboard Assets Inventory, Software & Keys, Warranties & AMC, Email Management, Vendor Contacts, Subscriptions,IT Policies, Requirements
Audits & Compliance—into a single space where the whole team can see progress at a glance and collaborate without jumping between tools.
Core focus
• Task management that supports status changes, priorities, and deadlines.
• Built-in team collaboration (comment threads, @mentions, simple notifications, and a searchable activity feed).
Everything must run in any modern browser, scale to 50–60 concurrent users, and sit behind role-based access so managers, technicians, and requestors each see the right things. A clean dashboard with charts or a Kanban view will make life easier for everyone, but I’m open to your UX ideas so long as the workflow stays intuitive.
Tech stack
I’m comfortable with mainstream web frameworks—React, Vue, Angular on the front end; Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back end—so propose what you’re fastest and most confident with. The code should be container-friendly (Docker) and ready for deployment on our Linux VPS.
Deliverables
1. Working web application deployed on our staging server.
2. Source code in a private Git repo with clear commit history.
3. Brief setup & user documentation (markdown or PDF).
Acceptance
I’ll review against a checklist: task creation/edit/delete works, real-time updates reach all logged-in users, role permissions behave correctly, and basic load testing at 50 users holds steady under 2-second response times.
Timeline and milestones are flexible if you communicate early and often. Let me know which stack you’d choose, similar portals you’ve built, and your estimated timeframe from kick-off to staging.
