SQL Server 2022 Upgrade
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Our primary database management system currently runs on Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Standard hosted on Windows Server 2019 Standard. I need this environment brought up to SQL Server 2022 while preserving every database, login, Agent job and operational setting.
You will be working with fresh full and differential backups that we already maintain, so you can stage or roll back the upgrade if needed. The server contains only a few custom configurations—mainly maintenance plans, scheduled jobs and a handful of tuned server-level settings—which must be identified, recreated or adjusted for the new version and then verified for correct behaviour.
I expect:
• A clear, step-by-step upgrade or migration plan with estimated downtime
• Pre-upgrade validation checks and post-upgrade testing to confirm database integrity and application connectivity
• Re-implementation of those custom configurations and confirmation that they operate as before
• A short knowledge-transfer summary so I can understand any new administration points specific to SQL 2022
