I’m looking for a detail-oriented specialist to step in and tidy up my existing SQL database. The core of the job is data cleaning and updating—removing duplicates, standardising field values, correcting obvious errors, and making sure every record aligns with current business rules.
The database is already live, so I need someone comfortable writing safe, well-tested UPDATE and DELETE statements, using transactions and backups to protect production data. If you like working with indexing, constraints, and validation scripts, this will feel familiar.
You’ll receive secure access credentials, a brief schema overview, and a list of known problem areas. Once complete, I expect a concise change log and any SQL scripts you wrote so I can rerun or audit them later.
Deliverables (all required):
• Cleaned and fully updated SQL tables
• A script or set of scripts that performed the work
• A simple change report summarising what changed and why
