SBT PRO 5i Data Migration

My entire inventory master lives in both Visual FoxPro 9 tables and another SBT PRO existing company and with some modification, it needs to be reimported to a second company in SBT PRO 5.i. It appears that SBT PRO 5.i does not have a built-in IMPORT function in its menus (where later version might) and SBT PRO support no longer exists. The job is strictly about data migration—no report writing or troubleshooting at this stage—so I’m after a developer who already knows SBT’s table structure, field naming conventions, and the quirks of its FoxPro underpinnings. I too am familiar with the tables and the structure of SBT Pro's tables (to a degree) and very familiar with the inventory tables that need to talk to each other.
While much of the mapping of these two separate sets of tables are known to me, you would need to review what I already understand in the mapping the current VFP9 tables and fill-in mapping that may be missing. (item codes, descriptions, units, pricing tiers, on-hand quantities, locations, serial/lot numbers, and any custom fields I’ve added) to their exact counterparts in SBT PRO 5.i. Once the map is solid, create scripts or routines that convert, validate, and import the data without breaking referential integrity. I can spin up a test environment for dry runs; once the results match the source totals perfectly we’ll schedule the live cut-over. Deliverables
• Field-mapping document showing one-to-one (or many-to-one) links between VFP9 and SBT tables
• Re-usable migration script(s) or program files with clear inline comments
• Test migration report detailing record counts, exceptions handled, and reconciliation numbers
• Brief how-to note so I can rerun the process or audit it later

Acceptance criteria
– 100 % of active inventory items appear in SBT PRO 5.i with identical key fields and quantities
– Totals for cost, quantity on hand, and locations reconcile to the original VFP9 data within ±0.01 %
– No orphaned or duplicate records created

If you’ve already migrated data into any SBT version, especially 5.i, please mention it and tell me what tooling you used (pure VFP code, third-party utilities, etc.). I’m ready to begin as soon as we agree on the timeline, milestones and your estimated fees.
