MySQL .frm/.ibd Data Recovery

Job ID: 40363791

Budget: €30 – €50 EUR

Project Description:
My production MySQL 5.7 server is no longer accessible, but I still have the complete set of .frm and .ibd files from the original data directory. I am looking for an experienced MySQL/InnoDB recovery specialist who can extract the full database content from these files and deliver a clean, import-ready SQL dump.

The final result must allow me to rebuild the database on a fresh MySQL 5.7 instance.

Scope of Work:

Work directly with the provided .frm and .ibd files from a MySQL 5.7 server
Recover all tables and data from the available InnoDB files
Preserve original table structures, indexes, primary keys, and triggers where available
Produce a single SQL dump that can be imported into a clean MySQL 5.7 server without errors
Verify recovered tables and row counts as far as technically possible during the recovery process
Provide a short summary of the recovery method used and any limitations encountered

Important Notes:

No logical backup exists; only the physical table files are available
You may use any suitable recovery approach or tools, including but not limited to mysqlfrm, mysqldump, innodb_force_recovery, Percona tools, or other proven methods
The priority is a reliable final SQL dump that restores cleanly and is usable in a web application environment

Deliverables:

One complete SQL dump file for MySQL 5.7
Recovered schema and data for all possible tables
Short technical note describing the process
Clear note of any missing objects, corruption, or limitations, if applicable

Acceptance Criteria:

The SQL dump imports successfully on a clean MySQL 5.7 server using a single command
Recovered table structures, row counts, and primary keys match the original recovered metadata as closely as possible
A brief recovery report is included, describing the process and any issues encountered

Please do not bid if you only offer general database support. This project specifically requires practical experience in MySQL/InnoDB recovery from .frm and .ibd files.
