Migrate E-Commerce Site to NAS
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a live e-commerce site that I now want housed on my own NAS. The full package—website files and the accompanying database—needs to be copied over, checked, and left fully functional so the NAS can operate either as a hot-swap server or a complete backup.
You’ll receive the current hosting credentials and remote access to the NAS. I expect you to:
• Export and transfer all site files and folders.
• Dump the database, import it to the NAS, and update any connection strings or config files so paths resolve correctly.
• Verify that the site loads from the NAS without broken links, missing images, or database errors.
Please let me know which tools you plan to use (e.g., rsync, SCP, phpMyAdmin, command-line MySQL) and approximately how long the downtime—if any—will be. A quick test plan outlining how you’ll confirm the transfer was successful will help me choose the right freelancer.
