Power Apps Developer Needed – Build Operational App with Dataverse Integration

Project Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform developer to build a Power App that replicates and improves upon a Microsoft Access-based workflow. The solution will be built on Dataverse, with strong form logic, subform (child table) functionality, and conditional display of records (e.g., via combo box filters).
You will be provided with:
• An existing Access database for structure reference
• A Dataverse environment with base tables – Will need help to organise and tidy these up
• Field relationships (using GUIDs), business logic, and sample data
Core Requirements:
• Build a canvas Power App using data stored in Dataverse
• Recreate form structure from existing Access forms with improvements and guidance
• Ensure parent-child relationships work correctly using GUIDs
• Auto-populate foreign key fields when creating new child records
• High expectations of workability and also visual design. Can give reference points of expectations from youtube examples.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience with Power Apps (Canvas) and Dataverse
• Comfortable working with GUID relationships, lookup columns, and multi-table structures
• Familiarity with Access-based systems and modernizing into Power Platform
• Experience with formula-based field calculations and Power Fx
• Able to suggest clean, usable UI layouts within Power Apps
• Bonus: Familiarity with shipping/logistics business processes
Deliverables:
• Fully functioning Power App with form navigation and filtering
• Tables properly linked via Dataverse with working relational logic
• Source file / export of app and documentation
• Ability to link to Power Bi
• Optional: brief walkthrough session or handover notes
