Inventory Management Desktop

I want a Windows-based desktop application that keeps all of my product inventory data in one place. The core goal is data management, and the software must handle every step of stock control—from the moment items arrive to the moment they leave—while giving me clear, up-to-date insights through reports.
Scope and workflow
• Begin by sharing a detailed architecture outline and a few visual mock-ups so we agree on look and flow.
• Build a functional prototype in a modern Windows framework (C# .NET WinForms, WPF, Electron, or another reliable option).
• Iterate once the prototype is approved and hand over the final, tested release.
Key features to build
- Stock tracking with add, remove and adjustment logs.
- Barcode scanning support for common USB scanners, plus optional barcode printing.
- Report generation in PDF / Excel for current stock, low-stock alerts, and movement history.
Technical expectations
• Clean, well-commented source code and a lightweight relational database (SQLite or SQL Server LocalDB recommended).
• Installer that works on Windows 10 and above without extra licensing hassles.
• Straightforward user interface—no steep learning curve.
Deliverables
1. Executable installer (.exe or .msi).
2. Full source code and database schema.
3. Brief user guide covering setup, daily use, and backup.
4. The initial mock-ups and any design assets.
