Ignition SCADA & MySQL Recipe System for Siemens S7-1500
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Overview:
I am looking for an Ignition SCADA (v8.3) developer to build a recipe management system using a MySQL backend. The system will interface with a Siemens S7-1510SP PLC (TIA Portal V19). The project involves 6 products sharing one database, where only one product runs at a time.
Key Features Required:
-Color Selection UI: A visual palette where users pick a color to capture its Hex ID as the database key.
-Recipe Management (CRUD): Ability to Create, Save, View, and Edit recipes. Each recipe contains a 23-row matrix of temperature/VLT data.
-Interlock Logic: Only one of the 6 products can be in "RUN" mode at a time.
Running recipes must be locked from editing or deletion.
-PLC Data Handshake: On "Start," Ignition must send only one specific row from the 23-row matrix to the Siemens PLC.
Testing & Hardware:
-Hardware Access: I have a physical PLC available for remote testing via AnyDesk/TeamViewer.
-Simulation: You may also use PLCSIM Advanced for initial development and simulation.
Technical Stack:
-SCADA: Ignition v8.3 (Perspective)
-Database: MySQL
-PLC: Siemens S7-1510SP (TIA V19)
Definition of Done:
The project is considered complete only when the system works flawlessly:
1. Successfully creating and saving new recipes from the color tool.
2. Loading correct data to the PLC registers upon "Start."
3. Full verification of the product interlocking and recipe-locking logic.
To Apply:
Please highlight your experience with Ignition Perspective, MySQL relational databases, and Siemens S7-1500 communication.
