Dental Records Management App
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I need a dedicated application that lets my clinic store, update, and retrieve every patient’s information in one secure place. The core of the build is patient records management, so the database and interface must comfortably handle:
• Full medical-history tracking that shows allergies, past procedures, ongoing conditions, and medications at a glance
• Detailed treatment plans with progress notes that dentists can update chair-side
• Secure storage and quick viewing of X-rays or any other imaging we upload (JPEG, PNG, DICOM)
Three different user roles will sign in: dentists, receptionists, and patients. Each role should only see what it needs—reception can access contact details and appointment stats, dentists get full clinical data, and patients log in to review their own history, images, and upcoming treatments. A simple role-based permissions layer or RBAC middleware is fine as long as it is clearly documented.
I am open on tech stack—Laravel, Django, Node.js, or a modern SPA front end such as React or Vue all work for me—but data security and HIPAA-ready best practices are non-negotiable. If you can add hooks so later we might bolt on appointment scheduling or billing, even better.
Deliverables I’d like to receive:
1. Source code with clear setup instructions (readme or screencast)
2. Seeded database schema covering the fields above
3. Deployed demo (temporary server or Docker) so my team can test logins for each role
4. Short handover document detailing architecture, dependencies, and how to extend modules
Acceptance criteria: the demo must let me create a patient file, attach an image, enter a treatment note, and confirm that the patient account can see only their own record.
Let me know your proposed stack, timeframe, and any previous health-care data projects to help me pick quickly.
