Database Cleaning & Validation Support

I’m updating an existing database and need a reliable hand specifically for data entry work focused on database updating. The core of the assignment is data cleaning and validation—making sure every record is accurate, consistent, and ready for reporting or further analysis.

Here’s what I expect:
• Receive raw exports (mostly CSV or Excel) and compare them against our existing tables.
• Identify duplicates, incomplete records, and formatting issues, then correct or flag them.
• Validate key fields using simple logic checks or cross-referencing with reference lists I’ll provide.
• Upload the cleaned data back into the database (MySQL via phpMyAdmin) and confirm row counts match.

Deliverables will be weekly cleaned-data files plus a brief change log that notes what was fixed, removed, or added. Familiarity with Excel functions, basic SQL commands, and an eye for detail is essential.
