Clone WordPress for PHP 8

I need a faithful, offline clone of my live WordPress site (currently on PHP 7.4) stood up on a separate server running PHP 8.3. You will handle the full file transfer, complete database replication, and any wp-config tweaks so the copy loads locally exactly as the production site does.

At the moment this is a pure compatibility check. Once the clone is in place I’ll browse through it myself; no remediation or code fixes are required in this phase.

Key points
• Access: I don’t yet have credentials for the target machine, so please guide me on what you need and help arrange secure access.
• Database: full replication—including all tables, views, and stored procedures if any—so I can validate every feature.
• Tools: feel free to use WP-CLI, phpMyAdmin, SSH, rsync, or Docker—whatever lets you get the job done cleanly.
• Deliverable: a working site on PHP 8.3 reachable at a temporary URL or local hosts entry, accompanied by a brief log of the steps you took so I can repeat them later if needed.

If the site launches with no fatal errors and mirrors the current functionality, the job is complete.
