Bluehost Linux VPS Administration

I run a Linux VPS on Bluehost that powers a handful of PHP web applications backed by MySQL. I’m ready to hand off the day-to-day technical work so I can focus on the product, but I need everything kept running smoothly right away.

You’ll receive full Control Panel access (no root SSH), and from there I expect three core services:

• Server maintenance – keep the OS, Apache, PHP versions and security patches up to date, monitor logs and resource usage, and restart services if they stall.
• Database management – schedule automated MySQL backups, tune indexes for performance, and restore data quickly if ever required.
• Code deployment – pull the latest code from the Git repository, run any composer / npm steps, update environment variables, clear caches, and roll back cleanly if a release misbehaves.

The first task — migrate our web application from a currently running shared VPS to a new dedicated VPS. Beyond that, I’d like proactive weekly check-ins with a brief report of what was updated, any anomalies you noticed, and recommendations.
