Project Overview
We are looking to build a WordPress website that allows users to register, verify their email, and reserve a unique username. The site will include email verification, automated workflows, and a custom login system using unique codes. The project will also involve generating unique codes for users and sending email confirmations at key stages.
Core Features
1. User Registration
Users can register with:
A unique username (prefixed with a #).
A password.
An email address.
2. Email Verification
After registration, users receive an email with a verification link.
Once verified, they can proceed to the next steps.
3. Submit Additional Information
After email verification, users must:
Provide three URLs (related to their work or involvement).
Provide their real name (as it appears on their ID).
If applicable, explain their involvement in a text field.
4. Unique Code Generation
After successful verification, users receive an email with a unique code.
The code links to a page that confirms:
The username is registered.
The user owns the username.
Users can log in via the unique code to view their profile.
5. User Profile Page
Logged-in users can view a profile page with:
Their username.
Their email address.
The three URLs they submitted.
A note explaining that this is a beta testing project and additional functionality will be added later.
6. Email Confirmations
Send email confirmations at the following stages:
After registration (with verification link).
After email verification (confirming successful verification).
After submitting additional information (confirming successful submission).
After unique code generation (with the code and login instructions).
7. Payment Integration (Optional)
Some users may need to pay a small fee to confirm their reservation.
