Trucking Management Web Database Build
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a custom, browser-based database that brings every core part of my trucking operation into one place. A clean, data-centric interface is essential; I am far more interested in quick access to numbers and records than flashy graphics. Two distinct user roles have to be supported: Administrators with full control and Drivers with a limited, task-focused view.
Core modules I expect from day one:
• Income & expense tracking that lets me filter by truck, trailer, driver, customer, and date range, then export to Excel or CSV.
• Driver management with profiles, licensing and certification dates, incident logs, and settlement details.
• Equipment management covering trucks, trailers, maintenance schedules, repair history, and depreciation data.
• IFTA reporting—fuel purchases, miles by jurisdiction, and quarterly form generation ready for submission.
Please structure the back end so it can scale—MySQL, PostgreSQL, or an equivalent relational engine is fine, and I’m open to a modern framework such as Laravel, Django, or Node/Express. A responsive React, Vue, or plain Bootstrap front end is acceptable as long as it stays fast and data-first.
I would like milestones for:
1. Database schema & ER diagram
2. Working CRUD screens for all modules
3. Role-based authentication and front-end permissions
4. IFTA calculations and export reports
5. Final polish, testing, and deployment instructions
Clean code, concise documentation, and a short video walk-through will serve as acceptance criteria for the hand-off.
