Simple Access Birthday Database

I need a compact Microsoft Access (.accdb) file that lets me keep a small databank of people’s names, birthdays and a short note for each entry. All records will be typed in manually, so the table (or form, if you prefer) must be ready for fast on-screen data entry without any import steps.

Core functions I must have
• Search by name: instant filter or search box that finds a record even with partial text.
• Search by birthday: same idea, but by date or month-day range so I can pull up everyone born on a given day.
• Print records: one-click print of either a single record or the full result list that comes from a search. A clean, A4-friendly layout is fine.
• Basic data entry controls: text field for the full name, date picker for birthday, and a memo field for notes.

I am happy with native Access tools—no external add-ins required—as long as the navigation is clear and works in Access 2016+.

Deliverable
1. An unlocked .accdb file containing the table, queries, and any forms or reports you create.
2. A brief read-me (PDF or TXT) that explains where to add new records and how to run each search or print function.

Once I can open the file, enter a new name, locate it by either search method, and print it, the job is complete.
