Shift Scheduling & Attendance Tracker

Job ID: 40319178

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I want a single system that lets me build a fair rota for every employee, compare it with the actual clock-in data I receive each day, and keep transparent statistics on attendance.

Daily I need to drag or select staff into open shifts, instantly see who is still unassigned, and quickly swap in the right people when someone is absent. After the shift ends I will import a clocking report (CSV, Excel or similar). The system must automatically match those timestamps to the schedule, flag anyone who was planned but never clocked, show who filled the gap, and record any extra person who clocked even though they were not expected.

Over time I want a summary sheet that, for every employee, counts:
• total days scheduled
• days absent while scheduled
• occasions they covered for someone else

That same sheet should highlight categories or individuals who have been over- or under-scheduled so that workload remains fair.

Access must be multi-user with three clear roles: Admin, Supervisor and Employee. Each role sees only the screens and actions that make sense for them—admins manage everything, supervisors handle day-to-day scheduling, employees view their own shifts.

I am open on the underlying platform; choose the toolset you feel is quickest to maintain and expand, provided it supports the import routine and the role-based permissions above. When you propose, outline how you will:
• build the intuitive drag-and-drop (or equivalent) scheduler
• implement the import / comparison logic
• generate the live fairness metrics and summary sheet
• secure the three-level login

I will supply a sample clocking report and our current employee list once we start.
