SQL Attendance Report

I need a compact module that connects to my SQL Server database, fetches raw attendance data, and delivers a clean report that mirrors the sample layout I will share. Two filters must work flawlessly and in combination: date-wise and employee-wise—both hold equal weight for daily use. Any duplicate rows you encounter should be excluded before the data reaches the final grid or export.

My preference is an ASP.NET / C# backend, though you’re free to craft the stored procedures as you see fit. Once the dataset is shaped, the user should be able to export the report to both Excel and PDF with a single click, keeping the exact formatting intact (headers, column order, totals, page breaks).

Deliverables I expect:
• A ready-to-run report with source code
• Brief setup notes and inline comments for future maintenance
• Help deploying to our test server if we hit any snags

If we can wrap this up in about 5–7 days, that would be ideal.
