Multidatabase SQL Migration & Optisation (female Deceloper ) for an Interview proxy

Job ID: 40196227

Budget: £20 – £50 GBP

I need an experienced Oracle-centric developer who is equally comfortable in Databricks SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, T-SQL and PL/SQL to move several production-grade data sets off Oracle 19c and make them run just as fast—if not faster—on each target platform.

Here is what the engagement looks like in practical terms:

• Data migration: extract with native Oracle utilities (Data Pump or equivalent), load into MySQL, PostgreSQL and Databricks SQL, and validate row-level parity.
• Query optimization: review my current PL/SQL queries, reproduce them on each destination, then tune them until execution times meet or exceed the Oracle baseline. Please capture execution plans and explain any indexing or partitioning decisions.
• Stored procedure development: rewrite existing procedures in T-SQL for SQL Server compatibility, PL/pgSQL for PostgreSQL and notebooks/SQL scripts for Databricks, keeping the business logic intact and portable.

No third-party or custom system integration is involved; every task stays within the databases themselves. Deliverables are:

1. Well-commented DDL/DML scripts for each environment.
2. Migration playbook detailing steps, tooling and gotchas.
3. Performance report comparing pre- and post-migration runtimes.
4. A single run-all script (or notebook for Databricks) that builds schema, loads sample data and demonstrates optimized queries.

I will validate the work by running your scripts in fresh sandboxes, so clarity, portability and solid documentation are essential. Let me know your estimated timeline and any questions you need answered before we begin.
