Enhance Access License Tracker
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I already have a Microsoft Access front-end tied to a SQL Server back-end that handles most of our license-tracking workflow, but a few finishing touches are still missing. The core tables, forms, and queries are in place; what I need now is targeted help refining the last pieces so the system reliably tracks license issuance, renewal dates, and ongoing compliance status.
The current file opens with an Admin-only switchboard, and that role must remain the single point of entry for design changes and any elevated tasks. I’ll provide a copy of the Access file, the ODBC connection string, and a short schema overview of the SQL tables so you can jump straight into development.
Key goals
• Extend or adjust existing forms/queries so all three licence data points—issuance, renewal, compliance—store and display without manual work-arounds.
• Preserve the Admin-only security I already have in place; any new objects should respect that role.
I’m happy to screen-share the current build and walk through the sticking points, then hand off a clean to-do list. Once you’ve made the updates, just return the revised .accdb and a quick change log so I can push it into production.
