Scenario
The parking facilities next to a major international and domestic airport needs to cater to the many different users of the airport. Short term, medium term, and long term are the three parking duration options offered. Each option of parking duration caters to three different sizes of vehicles. Large, small, and motorcycle. For example, a medium sized car or four-wheel drive vehicle would use a large carpark. A Nissan Micra would use a small carpark. A Vespa would use a motorcycle carpark. Camera identification is used to record each vehicles registration number (unique identifier) when the vehicle is entering or exiting the carpark. The number of available carparks for each type of carpark is clearly displayed at the front of each carpark so that you can see them before entering. On arrival at the entry gate if the driver has pre-booked and paid online the gate opens and the ceiling lights indicate to the driver the path to the designated car park. Alternately, on entry the driver selects a carpark size on the console and a ticket is issued with the designated carpark number. The ceiling lights indicate to the driver the path to the designated car park.
