Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Data Engineer Mentor to provide mentorship and training in the following areas: Azure: Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL. As a Data Engineer Mentor, you will work with aspiring data engineers and guide them through the process of learning and applying these technologies in real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one mentorship and training to aspiring data engineers on Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL.
Develop and deliver training materials, tutorials, and workshops to help mentees understand and apply the latest data engineering best practices.
Evaluate the progress of mentees and provide feedback and guidance to help them achieve their learning goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the data engineering field and share this knowledge with mentees.
Collaborate with other mentors and stakeholders to continuously improve the mentorship program.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on experience in Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Experience in developing and delivering training materials, tutorials, and workshops.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple mentees and projects simultaneously.
