Build User-Friendly Access Database

Job ID: 40230746

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I have already sketched out all of the tables we need for our small in-house system, but I’m hitting a wall when it comes to tying everything together inside Microsoft Access. Your task is to take those existing tables and turn them into a fully working file that the team can start using right away.

Here’s what I still need:

• Data entry and update forms that follow the relationships I’ve planned, keep users on track with lookups, and prevent bad data.
• Queries that perform straightforward summations so key figures surface instantly on screen or in print.
• Two core report types—summary and detailed—laid out cleanly so they’re easy to read and export.

The structure is simple, so I expect the work to be uncomplicated for someone experienced with Access, VBA, and the built-in report designer. I’ll supply a diagram of the schema plus notes on field behaviour, naming conventions, and any business rules.

Future-proofing is important. I’d like the finished file organised so we can later bolt on email notifications and calendar integration without tearing everything apart.

Hand off the completed .accdb file, all source objects unlocked, along with a brief guide that shows where to find the key forms, queries, and reports. If this sounds like a quick, tidy project for you, let me know how soon you could turn it around and what your quote looks like.
