Basic Microsoft Access CRM
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have two Excel tables—Contacts and Properties—and I want them turned into a single, easy-to-maintain Microsoft Access CRM. The Contacts table will link to the Property table through a proper primary/foreign-key relationship so that I can see every contact tied to a particular building and vice-versa.
Core tasks
• Import my Excel sheets into Access, preserving all existing fields.
• Set up clean, relational tables and enforce referential integrity so the database grows safely over time.
• Build simple data-entry forms for both Contacts and Properties along with a combined form that shows related records side-by-side.
• Add a command button that lets me select one or several contacts and open a pre-addressed Outlook email window.
• Add a second button that opens a Word letter template, mail-merging the active contact (or contact list) and its property information.
Preset queries I need right away
• Contacts by property
• Emails sent to contacts
• Properties in the 5,000 SF – 10,000 SF range (so I can quickly pull “like properties”)
Deliverables
1. An .accdb file containing the finished tables, relationships, forms, queries, and all VBA/macros needed for the Outlook and Word links.
2. A short how-to document (or annotated code) explaining where to add new fields or tables later without breaking what you build today.
Keep the interface clean and intuitive—I’m the sole user for now but want room to grow. If you can deliver a stable, well-commented database that meets the points above, I’m ready to get started right away.
