Access 97 Database Migration
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
I have a legacy MS Access 97 database that still powers day-to-day operations, and it is time to bring it forward. The file must open flawlessly in Access 2016 (or any newer release) while remaining in an .accdb format that is backward-readable by Access 2007.
Here is what has to come across intact: every table and record, all table-to-table relationships, every form and report, plus several VBA modules and macros that are critical to current functionality. Any obsolete references or deprecated code lines need to be upgraded so the application compiles cleanly in the modern environment.
Deliverables
• A fully functioning .accdb file built from the original Access 97 source
• Updated VBA/macros confirmed to run without warnings in Access 2016+
• Forms and reports reproduced with their original layout and logic
• Quick verification checklist (or short video) showing tables, relationships, and code compiling successfully
• One screenshot demonstrating a past Access migration you have completed
