SQL CSV Import & MCP Setup
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 NZD
I have some CSV data that holds three discrete datasets—Timesheets, Customer data, and Service Tickets. I need the tables created in Microsoft SQL Server, the fields mapped exactly to the existing column order and data types preserved, then the full import executed with referential integrity checks (duplicates flagged, primary keys enforced, date/time fields handled correctly) with daily scheduled dump and refresh.
Once the data is live, I also need an MCP server stood up so that Claude can query the database remotely. That means configuring the MCP service, exposing the new SQL instance with secure credentials, and giving me a short connection guide (host, port, user, sample query).
Deliverables:
• SQL script(s) for schema creation and import
• Verified data load with counts matching the CSV for all three datasets
• MCP server running and reachable from an external client
• One-page setup/connection notes so I can reproduce the environment or redeploy it later
If you’ve moved structured CSVs into SQL Server before and are comfortable configuring MS SQL Server MCP or similar middleware, this should be straightforward. I can supply the file and a quick walkthrough of the column layout as soon as we start.
