Microsoft Access CRM Database Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I am looking for assistance to rebuild an existing Microsoft Access database into a modern application that I can access remotely from anywhere.
I currently run my business using a custom Microsoft Access system that includes:
-Customer and job management
-Job status tracking
-Staff assignment per job
-Fabric and supplier ordering per job
-Attachments (job-related documents and images)
-A structured front-end with forms, menus, and reports
-VBA modules (including a core “mapping” module that handles business logic and workflows)
The goal is to create a new application that:
-Can be accessed remotely (desktop, and ideally tablet/mobile)
-Supports multiple users safely
-Retains the same core workflows and logic as my current system
-Replaces the existing VBA “mapping” logic with an appropriate modern equivalent
-Has a layout and usability similar to my current Access setup (form-based, job-focused)
I am open to recommendations on the best platform (e.g. Power Apps, AppSheet, or another suitable low-code solution), but the priority is reliability, cost efficiency, and long-term maintainability.
If this is something you can assist with, I would be keen to discuss:
Your recommended approach/platform
Estimated scope, timeline, and cost
Your experience migrating or rebuilding Access-based systems
I can provide screenshots, table structures, and a walkthrough of the existing system if required.
