Laravel Bugs, Features & GraphQL Integration
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need an experienced Laravel developer to move my current code-base forward on three fronts at once: adding new database-driven features, ironing out a backlog of bugs, and squeezing every bit of performance out of the application. All of this will culminate in a clean GraphQL layer that exposes the updated data models.
Project background
The app already runs on Laravel 10, PHP 8.2 and MySQL. CI/CD, Git and a staging server are in place, so you will be dropping into a working workflow. My immediate priority is to extend the database schema (migrations, models, relationships) and expose those changes through a well-structured set of GraphQL queries and mutations. While you are inside the code, I also want existing issues resolved and obvious performance hot-spots addressed.
What I expect from you
• Analyse the current models, migrations and seeders, then propose the required changes for the new feature set.
• Implement the schema changes and update Eloquent relationships.
• Create or refactor resolvers so the GraphQL endpoint fully reflects the new structure.
• Track down and fix the outstanding bugs listed in the GitHub issues board.
• Profile and refactor any slow queries or memory-hungry processes you discover.
• Commit early and often, with clear commit messages and open communication on Slack.
• Finish with a round of automated and manual testing before deploying to staging.
Acceptance criteria
– All new database entities appear in the GraphQL schema and can be queried or mutated without errors.
– All reported bugs in the current sprint are closed and verified.
– Laravel Telescope and the query log show no N+1 or long-running queries introduced by your changes.
– The staging build passes PHPUnit and feature tests and is ready for production promotion.
