E-Commerce Build & Data Design

My project brings together two tightly-linked tracks.
First, I need a seasoned data architect to design a robust data model, spin up the underlying databases, and put solid integrity checks in place so product, customer, order, and review information stay consistent as the business scales. Normalised relational schemas are fine, but I’m open to a hybrid approach if you can justify the gains—think PostgreSQL or MySQL for core transactions with a NoSQL layer for high-volume reads. Whatever you choose, please document the ERDs and key constraints so future devs can follow the logic.

Running in parallel, an e-commerce developer will turn that data layer into a fast, mobile-first storefront that feels seamless end-to-end. The site must include:

• Shopping cart
• Payment gateway integration (Stripe or similar)
• User reviews tied to verified orders

Good SEO fundamentals, clean UI, and secure coding practices are expected. I prefer modern stacks such as React + Node/Express or a PHP framework like Laravel, but I’m flexible if you can demonstrate equivalent performance and maintainability.

Deliverables are straightforward: database scripts and diagrams, the full web source with build instructions, and a brief deployment guide. I’ll test by placing sample orders, submitting reviews, and running integrity checks against the database. If everything syncs up without errors, we’re good.
