Admin Group Chat with Search
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for someone to integrate a focused group-chat module into my existing admin panel. The core scope is straightforward:
• Group chat only—no private messaging or file sharing for now.
• Persistent message history that loads quickly and stays organized.
• A fast, accurate search bar so I can retrieve any past message by keyword, user, or date.
Please build it with real-time readiness in mind; even though live updates weren’t selected today, I want the codebase structured so WebSocket or long-polling can be dropped in later without a rewrite.
Stack is flexible—Laravel, Node, or Django on the back end and a modern JavaScript front end are all fine as long as the final solution is secure, well-documented, and easy for another developer to maintain.
Deliverables:
1. Clean, commented source code.
2. Database schema or migrations for storing chats.
3. Setup instructions and a short walkthrough video or README.
If you’ve shipped similar chat features before and can demo a quick prototype, I’ll prioritize your bid.
