The main paper you select must be interesting, high
quality, and promising, and be relevant to this course.
The paper should be recent and should be closely
related to the topics/areas covered in the 2021
versions of leading database conferences (SIGMOD,
VLDB, ICDE, KDD, ICDM, SDM, and WWW).
Your selected paper must meet the “recency”
requirement (the main paper must be published in
2021). Ideally you want to select papers published at
the 2021 versions of these conferences
