Upgrade Legacy Access Database
Budget: $100 – $500 USD
I need an experienced Microsoft Access developer to upgrade my 2002 Runtime database application to the current version of Microsoft Access. The upgrade should ensure that the database functions exactly as it did in the previous version, without any loss of functionality.
Key Requirements:
- Upgrade the existing Access 2002 database application to the latest version
- Maintain all current functionalities and ensure compatibility with the new version
- Test the upgraded database to ensure it works seamlessly on the latest Access version
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Access, specifically older versions and the latest release
- Strong understanding of database migration and upgrade processes
- Attention to detail to ensure no functionality is lost during the upgrade
- Ability to troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise during the upgrade process
- Quick Turnaround and great communications a must
Notes: This is an application currently running in a Windows 98 environment that just needs to be running on newer HW/OS Win 11and current version of access. Attachments included are errors that display on launch (appear very minor security related and some declare statements) and the main menu screen. We really just use this DB for query of old records so Add/Change/Delete functionality need not be addressed at this point and can be looked at under additional project if needed but do let me know if you see any potential issues with Add/Change/Delete functionality just so I am aware. I am not the author of the program just want to get it running for client on newer HW so we can retire the Windows 98 PC.
